Paris

After all the stresses and strains of the past few days, I am so very happy to be going away for the weekend with Gordon to Paris.

La Lune aux Champs

We married 13 years ago, and are off, leaving the children with my dad and step-mum (blessed, wonderful, amazing individuals that they are) and escaping everything tiresome, distressing and difficult for a few days of rest, food, wine, beauty and fun.

But first I will have a day of running around like a wild thing, sorting and tidying.

Au revoir, mes amis.

You must let me know how you managed to get Dad to do the honours for the weekend; wouldn't mind a trip away ourselves!
Hope you both have a wonderful weekend. You deserve it!

Have a brilliant time. I was there with my fiancee a few weeks back and it was great, except we ended up with very sore legs, still, thats what the wine is for :)

Thanks to all of you for your lovely thoughts. We had a great time.

@Anon who posted the link to another NI blog about autism, thanks. It's an interesting blog all right and while I agree with some of what the author says about provision and organisation of services for autistic people in NI, my interest in the blog is severely limited by its having some very dodgy links in the sidebar, including one to the most poisonous and disgusting blog about autism ever written.
